SAP EWM MFS Consultant (m/f/d)
Germany | Hybrid / Remote Options Available
We are supporting a fast-growing, highly specialised SAP consultancy with deep expertise in SAP EWM and automation-driven warehouse environments. This organisation delivers complex, high-performance intralogistics solutions for customers across manufacturing, retail, and logistics sectors.
If you enjoy technically challenging projects, automation-heavy warehouses, and working with genuine EWM/MFS experts — this is not a "generic logistics” role.
The Role
You will work on end-to-end SAP EWM projects with a strong focus on Material Flow System (MFS) integration in highly automated warehouse environments.
This position is suited to someone who wants to operate at the intersection of SAP and warehouse automation — working closely with PLC providers, automation partners, and internal development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, customise and implement SAP EWM with a focus on MFS integration
Interface SAP EWM MFS with automated warehouse components (conveyors, shuttles, AS/RS, AGVs, etc.)
Manage end-to-end project responsibilities (blueprint → go-live → hypercare)
Analyse material flow processes and optimise system-driven warehouse control
Collaborate with developers on enhancements, debugging and performance tuning
Support integration with PLC systems and external automation vendors
Contribute to template development and innovation within automation projects
Your Profile
Strong experience in SAP EWM (embedded or decentralised)
Hands-on experience with EWM MFS customising
Understanding of warehouse automation and material flow concepts
Experience working with PLC interfaces (knowledge of telegram structures beneficial)
ABAP debugging knowledge is advantageous
Comfortable working in project environments with technical stakeholders
Fluent German and good English skills
What Makes This Opportunity Different
This is not a body-leasing consultancy model. The organisation is known for:
A pure focus on SAP EWM & automation excellence
Long-term customer partnerships rather than short-term delivery
High technical depth — you’ll work with true MFS specialists
Complex, high-automation warehouses (not basic stockroom projects)
Structured onboarding and knowledge-sharing culture
A stable pipeline of greenfield and S/4HANA EWM projects
What You Can Expect
Competitive salary package + performance bonus
Remote-first culture with structured project travel
Clear development path into Lead / Solution Architect roles
Exposure to cutting-edge automated warehouse technology
Collaborative, low-politics working environment
Training and certification support
If you are currently working in SAP EWM and want to deepen your expertise specifically in MFS and high-automation environments, this is a genuine step forward in technical depth.
