Responsibilities
Scope: Full responsibility for all accounting for Business Line Marl / Wesseling including all subsidiaries
Accounting/financial statements: Ensuring proper accounting, preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and EnWG
ICS: Implementation and monitoring of internal control systems to ensure compliance and risk management
Cooperation: Coordination of cooperation between the accounting departments of Business Line Marl / Wesseling and Function Accounting, as well as close cooperation with the tax department of Business Line Marl / Wesseling
Contact person: Main contact person for internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, as well as management and development of the accounting team
Accounting issues: Targeted advice and structuring of accounting issues
Process optimization: Continuous optimization of all internal procedures and processes
Requirements
Education: Successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting, auditing, taxation, controlling, or comparable (successfully passed auditor exam is an advantage)
Professional experience: Several years of professional experience in a managerial position in accounting or auditing (ideally as an auditor)
Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS, HGB, EnWG, and tax law, as well as very good knowledge of all financial processes and the associated IT tools (SAP finance modules, MS Office, etc.)
Languages: Excellent written and spoken German and English
Personal skills: Goal-oriented and cooperative manner, strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and a hands-on mentality
