Give our robots consciousness

In the AI Department, you will develop the cognitive abilities of our robots, enabling them to understand and respond to the world around them. You will work on the algorithms that make machines intelligent and adaptive – from object recognition and language processing to decision-making in complex environments. Here, you will be part of a team that pushes technological boundaries and collaborates closely with other departments such as software, hardware, and product management. Using cutting-edge tools and methods from machine learning and AI, you will work on projects that are directly visible in our products. Your mission & challenges

You design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines.
You develop and optimize data models for robotics applications.
You ensure data quality, governance, and security across all platforms.
You develop data workflows using scalable processing technologies, streaming, and data curation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data sets.
You evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices in data engineering.

What can we look forward to

A master's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
At least 7 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
Very good programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Java or Scala in big data frameworks is a plus.
Experience with modern data technologies such as Spark, Kafka and Airflow as well as with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
Cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with data lake or data warehouse solutions.
Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
You work independently and reliably in a team.
You have a perfect command of English and ideally also speak very good German.
