Your mission & challenges
We are looking for a motivated Test Automation Intern to support system-level testing and test automation for industrial robotic systems. This role provides hands-on experience with real robots, exposure to industry-grade testing practices, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
Execute manual system-level tests, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing on robotic systems
Create, maintain, and improve test cases, execution procedures, and test reports
Reverse-engineer and document system requirements from existing test cases; perform exploratory testing to identify gaps and risks
Develop, execute, and validate automated test scripts
Ensure all testing activities comply with safety standards and internal protocols
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze test results and support root-cause investigation of defects
What we can look forward to
- Master’s student or in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field
- Intermediate-level Python programming skills
- Understanding of robotic systems and system-level testing concepts
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on engineering mindset
- Good written and spoken English is required, German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in an industrial robotics environment
