Your mission & challenges

We are looking for a motivated Test Automation Intern to support system-level testing and test automation for industrial robotic systems. This role provides hands-on experience with real robots, exposure to industry-grade testing practices, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

• Execute manual system-level tests, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing on robotic systems

• Create, maintain, and improve test cases, execution procedures, and test reports

• Reverse-engineer and document system requirements from existing test cases; perform exploratory testing to identify gaps and risks

• Develop, execute, and validate automated test scripts

• Ensure all testing activities comply with safety standards and internal protocols

• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze test results and support root-cause investigation of defects

What we can look forward to

• Master’s student or in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field
• Intermediate-level Python programming skills
• Understanding of robotic systems and system-level testing concepts
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on engineering mindset
• Good written and spoken English is required, German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in an industrial robotics environment
