Your Role:
Join our innovative team, BioMonitoring Innovation & Product Life Cycle Management (IPLCM), as a R&D Product and Process Development Leader (f/m), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Quality Control solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries. You will be at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge technologies in mechanics, electronics, software and biologics to develop today the products of tomorrow.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Project Management to design, develop and validate comprehensive solutions and technological components in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing and managing all project execution activities for our global customers, specifically for our Environmental Monitoring and Sterility Testing product lines. You will manage technical extended team ensuring efficient project execution in collaboration with Marketing and Project Management leads, ensuring alignment between resources and project needs.
You will build strong partnerships with customers, serving as their primary contact and ensuring their needs are met. Leading the implementation of automated processes and smart manufacturing technologies (Industry 4.0) will be key to achieving cost efficiency while maintaining compliance and quality. You will support the Marketing lead in capturing customer needs and translating them into User Requirements Specifications. Additionally, you will manage technical content communicated to solution providers and ensure effective interactions with them. Your leadership will inspire cross-functional teams to adopt data-driven approaches, leveraging advanced analytics for excellence in process and cost.
This role also involves benchmarking manufacturing processes against industry standards to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory alignment. You will have the opportunity to drive sustainability improvements and manage Intellectual Property related to the technical solutions you generate.
This exciting position is based in Molsheim (close to Strasbourg, France), with a requirement for occasional travel within Western Europe (3 to 4 times by quarter).
Who You Are:
- Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering, specializing in manufacturing processes or automated systems engineering.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an R&D organization, ideally leading automation projects.
- More than 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on process engineering.
- Strong technical skills in industrial processes, manufacturing, packaging and product & process cost management.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple solution providers or external partners effectively.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead complex projects with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Solid leadership skills with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, thriving in cross-functional and international teams.
- Fluent in English is required; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites or partners, primarily in France and Western Europe.
