Job description
- You will independently develop sustainable strategies for the targeted development and penetration of different market segments within the entire region and thus increase the general market presence
- In addition, you will be responsible for actively acquiring new customers and for the sustainable development of long-term and trusting business relationships in the technical project business
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation of individual calculations and customised offers, ensuring that all technical requirements of the customers are fully taken into account
- The coordination of specific customer requirements with internal production areas is also part of your job:
- You will also be responsible for coordinating specific customer requirements with the internal production departments in order to ensure the smooth implementation of technical projects at all times
- As part of your role, you will support the independent handling of all incoming enquiries as well as the complete order processing from initial contact to successful project completion
- Finally, you will be responsible for providing professional advice to customers on site and ensure a high level of satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty through your technical expertise
Requirements
- You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) with further technical training as a business administrator (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in technical sales, ideally in the project business or in electrical engineering, and are familiar with the specific requirements of this industry
- You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications and experience in working with modern ERP systems for efficient order processing and documentation
- You have a native level of written and spoken German and a clear manner of expression are essential for communicating with customers and preparing technical quotations:
- Furthermore, you have a high degree of negotiating skills and a strong willingness to travel for the weekly field service in order to successfully visit new customers and maintain existing customers
- Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work very independently and goal-oriented, always keeping the success of the projects and the wishes of the customers in focus
