Business Development Consultant – Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the life sciences space
- Utilize your extensive market research and market intelligence skills to uncover client needs and industry trends
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Manage and cultivate relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account expansion
- Utilize quantitative research and market analysis to tailor solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support
- Leverage your experience in business development to drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation
- Apply a client-facing approach to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Fluency in German and English is essential for effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Based in Munich or Frankfurt, with a willingness to commute to the office
- Proven experience in market research, business development, account management, and quantitative research within the life sciences industry
- Strong understanding of the German life sciences market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Business Development Consultant – Requirements:
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of surpassing sales targets in life sciences consultancy, showcasing the ability to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts
- Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the German life sciences market, coupled with the ability to leverage market research for strategic business opportunities and challenges
- Client-Facing Acumen: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Fluency in German and English: Exceptional language proficiency in both German and English for effective communication, negotiations, and presentations with clients and internal teams
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred
