Development Engineer for Dosimetry Measurement Systems (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Take on a senior role in product development, including project management, requirements definition, and tracking
- Design, build, and evaluate prototypes, including data analysis
- Develop and optimize algorithms for measurement, quality assurance, and data acquisition in dosimetry systems
- Implement algorithms in both software and firmware
- Further develop electronic and mechanical components of our technologies
- Contribute to the advancement of Instadose and BeOSL technologies for new applications – such as neutron detection or new measurement quantities in radiation protection
Your Profile
- University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of experience in development projects (industry or academia)
- Expertise in one of the following areas and a solid understanding of the others:
- Algorithm development (e.g., using Python)
- Control and embedded software
- Radiation detectors (active/passive)
- Hardware and/or electronics development for measurement systems
Additional Advantages
- Programming skills in C++, Java, or C#
- Experience with firmware, PLC systems, or automation technology
- Knowledge in radiation protection, dosimetry, or radiation physics
