EEE Parts Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EEE Parts Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge space systems. In this role, you will coordinate the selection, qualification, and procurement of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components for use in space applications.
Your Tasks
- Coordinate the selection, qualification, and procurement of EEE components for space missions
- Support the selection of components ensuring compliance with quality requirements and manufacturability for in-house designs
- Initiate and support the procurement of EEE parts and manage associated qualification programs
- Prepare, review, and release EEE documentation, such as:
- Declared Component Lists (DCLs)
- Part Approval Documents (PADs)
- Procurement specifications
- Qualification status reports
- Manage the EEE part quality assurance and participate Parts Control Board meetings with customers and subcontractors
- Handle and resolve non-conformities related to EEE parts, and provide technical support for Non-Conformance Review Board (NRB) decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with component suppliers and manufacturers
- Monitor EEE alerts and ensure proper documentation in the internal parts database
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable discipline
- Background in Quality and Product Assurance
- Strong technical understanding of EEE part technologies and associated failure mechanisms
- Familiarity with EEE-related standards and specifications (e.g., ESA/ESCC, ECSS, MIL standards)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space applications
- Knowledge of test methods used in component qualification and screening
- Familiarity with the space-grade electronic components market
- Experience in electronic circuit design and assembly processes
