To support the increasing demand of Nanion’s products, and to provide premium customer service, Nanion Technologies Inc. is expanding the team in the U.S.

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist – Impendence & CAS Systems to join the US branch. • Scientific training: At minimum, a bachelor’s in relevant life science (e.g. Pharmacology/Physiology, immunology, biochemistry), though advanced degrees (MSc or PhD) are preferred
  • Hands‑on lab experience with instrumentation and assays, particularly impedance-based systems, MEAs, CE-based platforms, or live-cell imaging tools
  • Experience with technologies related to iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and drug discovery is a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex science to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Problem-solving & adaptability: capable of troubleshooting unexpected issues in real time and working independently with tech support from HQ
  • Collaboration skills: ability to work cross‑functionally with HQ technical support team and sales team (US)

Real ‑ World Perspectives

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism and Excel
  • As a FAS, you will work on the technical side, while still functioning within the commercial organization. Your typical work is training new customers and troubleshooting customer issues
  • If you like interacting with people and sharing science, this could be a good career choice. You can be on the road quite often, being upwards to 60-70% travel

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Health, 401k and additional benefits
