Aufgabengebiet

The Functional Engineer - Braking-by-Wire Development (BbW) will be active in primarily from System requirements, to system validation, with a focus on control function design, system-level integration and testing.

• 
  
  Design and calibrate braking functions and control systems
• 
  
  Integrate BbW systems with other vehicle subsystems (e.g., e-motor, ADAS)
• 
  
  Conduct full-vehicle testing for stability, performance and feel
• 
  
  Use tools like Matlab, CANape, dSPACE to simulate and validate controls
• 
  
  Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and cybersecurity standards
• 
  
  Innovate and propose new features for driver interaction with brake systems

Anforderungsprofil

Successful candidate for Functional Engineer - Braking-by-Wire Development (BbW) :

• 
  
  Master's (or PhD) in System Engineering, experience in an Tier-1 environement is a must,
• 
  
  7+ years in braking systems development (EHB/BbW),
• 
  
  Led R&D innovation projects,
• 
  
  Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics and control tuning
• Experience in managing system requirements and real-world environnement calibration/test/validation.
• 
  
  Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, C++, CAN tools, and dSPACE
• 
  
  Experience with ISO 26262 and safety-critical systems
• 
  
  Fluent in English, collaborative and proactive in international teams
• Expecting to travel up to 20% on a yearly basis.
