Head of UX & Machine Learning (m/f/d)

• Lead the UX & ML Strategy: Define and execute a cohesive strategy that integrates user experience principles with machine learning capabilities to create innovative and user-centric products.
• Product Innovation & Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Use data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and deliver personalized, engaging, and efficient user experiences.
• User Research & Analysis: Champion user research initiatives to deeply understand user behavior, needs, and pain points. Translate these insights into actionable product improvements and new features.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product owners, engineering, sales, marketing and other business stakeholders to align goals and ensure successful product delivery.
• A/B Testing & Optimization: Implement and manage A/B tests to evaluate the impact of ML models and UX changes on key business metrics.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of UX designers, researchers and data scientists. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.

• At least 5 years of UX and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in both English and German.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Solid technical background, including knowledge of software development lifecycles and data infrastructure.
• Ability to translate complex user and business data into a clear strategic vision, with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce sector is a significant advantage, particularly with a focus on personalization, search, or product discovery.
