Our Ruby Dora, with her 181 rooms, is set in the legendary Corvin Palace on one of Budapest’s grand boulevards, right between Keleti station and the historic old town. From the glamour of the roaring 1920s to today’s buzzing café and bar culture, Budapest has always known how to keep the good times rolling. Inspired by the building’s history and by Hungarian sculptor Szigfrid Pongrácz’s four sculptures of Pandora crowning the palace, a symbol that even after turbulent times hope always finds its way back into the world, we created a space that reflects the city’s enduring spirit and love for lively gatherings. With the Danube, the historic centre and countless cafés just a short stroll away, Ruby Dora places you right where Budapest comes alive.

• represent your hotel as the go-to person for your team, our guests, and external service providers and partners in all matters
• build a strong team by taking charge of recruitment, onboarding, and development while fostering a positive and collaborative working atmosphere
• roll up your sleeves because you’re not just a manager but an active part of the team – leading by example
• keep a sharp eye on the numbers, stick to the set budgets, and manage forecasting and cost control with precision
• spot trends, streamline processes, and stay ahead of the game with strategic planning to keep your hotel moving forward
• make sure everything runs smoothly by ensuring compliance with HACCP, occupational safety, fire protection, and other legal requirements
• bring the Ruby Spirit to life by implementing our internal styles and maintaining quality standards.
• work closely with your Cluster Manager and all relevant departments at the Corporate Office to stay aligned and connected

We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:

• completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or hold a degree in hospitality or business administration
• extensive experience in an operational leadership role or a similar position in lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy
• strong knowledge of POS, PMS, and business management.
• a motivating and charismatic leader and with your authentic and loyal nature both team lead and team player
• a warm and welcoming personality and your communication skills allow you to shine in every interaction
• a knack for charming guests, with a hands-on mentality to match
• speaking fluent in Hungarian and English
