Aufgabe:

• Import & Export Operations
• Manage end to end import and export processes, including documentation, booking, shipment tracking, and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, Incoterms, customs regulations (e.g., EU customs code, export controls), and internal company policies.
• Prepare and verify necessary trade documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, etc.).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost efficient shipments.
• Resolve shipment delays, customs holds, discrepancies, and claims proactively.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions as required by law and company standards.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure ongoing compliance with export control regulations (e.g., dual use goods, sanctions).
• Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.

Logistics & Coordination

• Collaborate with internal departments (Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse) to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Optimize transport costs, consolidate shipments, and evaluate logistics partners for performance and cost efficiency.
• Support inventory accuracy and inbound/outbound flow optimization.

Project Management

• Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Drive process standardization and digitalization initiatives (e.g., EDI integration, customs automation, TMS enhancements).
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and execute initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifikation:

• Completed commercial or logistics-related vocational training or degree (e.g., Freight Forwarding, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business Administration).
• Several years of experience in import/export operations or global logistics.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, export control, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience in managing or contributing to cross-functional projects
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
• Fluent in English (at least at C1 level).
