In this role, you will work directly with our clients, from scoping challenges to building and deploying solutions in their environments. You will implement advanced analytics and AI use cases, and you will ensure that our clients unlock the full potential of their data and processes.

The role

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at cavalis you will bridge data, processes and business transformation

• Work side by side with clients to understand their systems and challenges and co-develop solutions.
• Build and deploy analytics, machine learning models and data-driven insights that solve real problems.
• Design and implement AI-driven analyzes and scalable solutions, including but not limited to process mining.
• Prototype, validate and implement use cases with clear impact on business KPIs.
• Present results and recommendations convincingly to technical and business stakeholders.

What you will do

• Deliver advanced analytics, machine learning models and AI solutions that create measurable impact.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations and integrations tailored to client needs.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions with customer teams.
• Present results in a clear and structured way to both technical and executive audiences.
• Contribute to cavalis' Data Intelligence Factory by building reusable, scalable solutions for our customers.

Qualifications you need

• Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong data and AI skills: SQL, Python and common ML libraries (eg scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with LLM integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with process mining platforms (ideally Celonis) or strong motivation to learn them.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach and pragmatic problem-solving ability.
• Excellent academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or similar.
• First relevant experience in data analytics, AI/ML or consulting is beneficial.
