Job Description
As a Senior Manager Data Science, you lead AI and machine learning initiatives, driving innovation and delivering high-impact solutions for clients. You are responsible for defining and executing advanced data science strategies, ensuring measurable business outcomes, and promoting a data-driven approach to decision-making across organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI and machine learning initiatives, from problem definition through to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Design and implement advanced machine learning models, predictive analytics solutions, and AI-driven approaches to address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into digital products and services.
- Drive innovation by evaluating and applying emerging AI technologies and methodologies, ensuring Publicis Sapient remains at the forefront of data science advancements.
- Define and promote best practices in data governance, model deployment, and AI ethics to support responsible and compliant AI adoption.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on AI transformation, enabling them to leverage data science for sustainable competitive advantage.
- Lead and mentor data science teams, supporting professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate the value of AI and machine learning, contributing to informed decision-making at the executive level.
Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, with a strong track record of delivering AI-driven solutions.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, as well as experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models at scale, including natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Experience in leading AI transformation initiatives and collaborating with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to drive AI adoption.
- Strong knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, and interpretability, ensuring responsible and compliant AI implementation.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical teams.

- Advanced academic degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience in AI strategy development and AI-driven business transformation.
- Relevant certifications in AI, machine learning, or cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer).
- Strong expertise in MLOps, model monitoring, and AI governance.
