About the Role
The Consumer Goods EMEA BU is embarking on an exciting journey to step change our approach to International Customer management. We are looking for an International Customer & Pricing Director to lead a team of subject matter experts as part of the Commercial Excellence team.
The International Customer & Pricing Director will lead a team of International Key Account Managers to set the strategy process for international customers, buying groups and retailer alliances in collaboration with national Commercial Directors.
They will also lead a team of pricing and NRM experts to set the pricing strategy, securing its deployment and implementation in markets.
The role will have the overall responsibility to set the long-term strategic direction for Net Revenue Management and ensure best-in-class NRM plans are implemented across the business unit
What You Will Do
Build the international customers strategy for Consumer Goods EMEA in collaboration with International Key Account Managers and Commercial Directors. This includes developing mid-long term customer strategy, negotiation roadmaps, cross-regional alignment, exposure mitigation plans and opportunities capturing.
Drive the cross-country and cross-business units stakeholder alignment for the selected international customers.
Building up competences on Pricing and International Customers across regions, functions and business units.
Leading Consumer Goods Strategic Pricing, including enabling the right level of transparency across Business Units, Countries and Regions.
Leading international pricing risk mitigation and opportunity assessment plans for Consumer Goods, aligning with all relevant stakeholders.
Enabling the cross-country and cross-Business unit pricing variation opportunities.
Driving the Consumer Goods international pricing on winning channels (E-commerce and Discounters).
Who You Are
You possess a university degree in a relevant field
Strong understanding of different route-to-market structures for key European markets.
Experience in managing international customers & alliances across countries is a pre-requisite (including the European negotiation preparation and scenarios evaluation)
Professional experience in International Pricing Management in a matrix organization with international exposure (international pricing convergence program, innovation pricing processes and projects).
Master in P&L gross-to-net composition and dynamics.
NRM expertise and experience in building and executing NRM strategies in diverse international markets.
Strong business acumen and customer understanding/insight.
Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling you to deal with multiple senior stakeholders.
Innovative thinker with progressive approach to moving an organization forward.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
The position can be based at the main Essity Consumer Goods offices in Europe.
