YOUR TASKS

• You will work actively and solution-oriented in an agile and interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement innovative data-driven products and services using machine learning methods
• You will be responsible for the implementation and operationalization of ML models on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and transfer them into stable production
• You will ensure the smooth operation of our systems and proactively take care of quality, scalability, performance, and security
• You will design and establish best practices in the area of MLOps, optimize existing applications, and introduce new technologies and methods to continuously develop our ML infrastructure
• Close collaboration with data scientists, business stakeholders, and tech teams, as well as support throughout the entire lifecycle of ML models (from conception to deployment to monitoring and optimization) round out your responsibilities
  

YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of professional experience in the development in the development and operationalization of data products, ideally with a strong background in software engineering
• You have excellent, proven experience in Python, as well as knowledge of Java and SQL, particularly in the context of data engineering and the development of high-performance data applications
• Your expertise includes hands-on experience with GCP services (such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, etc.) and Terraform, as well as in the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning workloads
• You have a deep understanding through practical experience in managing ML models throughout their entire lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring, optimization) using modern MLOps practices
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems
• Very good communication skills and fluency in English and ideally German round off your profile
