Manager Finance Applications (m/w/d)
Your tasks
- Build and lead a dedicated Finance Applications team within IT, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Lead D365 Finance implementation projects from initiation to post-implementation support
- Configure and customize D365 Finance modules to meet business requirements
- Analyse and document financial processes, identifying opportunities for standardization and efficiency
- Drive process harmonization and automation across countries and business units
- Provide hands-on expertise in system configuration, updates, and workflow management
- Manage second- and third-level support for D365 Finance issues
- Oversee system updates, testing, documentation, and user communications
- Manage data migration, validation, and ensure data quality across platforms
- Act as the key link between Finance and IT on all D365 F&O topics
- Facilitate workshops and represent IT in architecture and governance discussions
Your profile
- University degree in IT, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience with enterprise systems in an international business environment
- Solid hands-on experience with D365 F&O, particularly within Finance modules
- Good understanding of finance and controlling processes
- In-depth knowledge of key modules like General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting and Cost Accounting
- Proven skills in ERP configuration and integration
- Certification in Dynamics 365 Finance
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment (German or any other European language skills are a plus)
