Responsibilities

• Identify required Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) in close collaboration with the Systems Engineering team


• Develop technical solution concepts and create detailed MGSE specifications


• Present MGSE concepts to project management and customers


• Plan and manage MGSE schedules


• Contribute to project milestone and design reviews related to MGSE


• Support the selection of suppliers in cooperation with Supply Chain Management


• Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers during the manufacturing phase and monitor production progress


• Participate in supplier reviews and acceptance tests


• Define, review, and approve required documentation (manufacturing drawings, manuals, test reports, etc.)


• Train employees in the correct use of MGSE

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or university degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or a comparable field


• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience


• Strong expertise in mechanical engineering and mechanical integration


• Knowledge of applicable aerospace standards


• Strong communication skills


• Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities


• High level of responsibility and a structured, efficient working style


• Very good command of written and spoken English
