TUM School of Management at TUM Campus Heilbronn invites applications for a Postdoc position (m/f/x) in the area of Entrepreneurship / Family Enterprise at Global Center for Family Enterprise (Prof. Dr. Miriam Bird). Expected starting date is mid April 2026 or by mutual agreement. The scientific employee (postdoc) will be employed on a 100% position at level E 14 TV-L (public sector pay scale). The post-doctoral researcher is expected to work in the area of entrepreneurship / family enterprise. The postdoc position (m/f/x) is limited to 24 months but can be extended for another 24 months (extension is subject to a positive performance evaluation).

Your tasks:
- Contribute to cutting-edge research projects in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Miriam Bird with a focus on entrepreneurship and family business at one of Europe’s leading universities. Topics may include entrepreneurial teams, sustainable entrepreneurship, or the role of AI in entrepreneurship.
- Support in the preparation and submission of research grant proposals.

Design and deliver engaging academic courses and seminars.

We look for: - a person with high level of independence combined with strong team skills,
- completed (or nearly completed) above-average doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in management, organizational psychology, sociology, economics, business informatics, or a related field, o With a solid knowledge of empirical research methods, including quantitative, qualitative, and experimental approaches. Ideally, experience with Python, Stata, or R.
- demonstrates proficiency in data collection, processing, and analysis, preferably using innovative methods (e.g., natural language processing) and

has excellent oral and written communications skills in English (command of the German language is an asset but not required).
