Create the future of chemical production with artificial intelligence!
At Navigance, we combine chemistry, data science, and software to make chemical production more efficient and sustainable. Our cloud-based CLARITY Prime solution helps plant operators and engineers to unlock the full potential of their catalysts using cutting edge technology — and we’re looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) to take this solution to the next level.
This is a global, cross-functional role where you will turn customer needs into easy-to-use product features. You will work closely with process engineers, data scientists, and catalyst experts, and you will guide the product development from first pilot projects to roll-out to many customers. This role is for you if you are excited about digitalization of chemical processes, and if you have the ambition to create real impact at a large number of chemical production plants of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the evolution of CLARITY Prime from pilot stage to a scalable product with powerful functionality
- Translate market insights and customer feedback into a clear product roadmap
- Draft high-level requirements and initiate user story refinement with engineering
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data science teams to deliver high-quality features
- Ensure quality control of UI, UX, and overall product quality before launch
- Engage with sales and service teams to craft compelling positioning and support customer adoption
- Monitor product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and share results with stakeholders
- Contribute to building a strong product culture by focusing on user value and outcomes
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry …)
- In depth knowledge of chemical process technology, in particular ammonia, methanol and hydrogen production.
- (Ideally) exposure to plant operations — understanding how to run, steer, and control a chemical plant, or a strong interest in operations excellence
- Curiosity and drive to learn fast
- First experience or strong motivation to grow in product management or industrial digitalization
- Analytical mindset, interest in working with process data, and willingness to learn new tools
- Clear and confident communication style — comfortable working with engineers and commercial teams alike
- Passion for solving real customer problems and making production more sustainable
- Basic coding experience (Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Relentless customer empathy and focus on user needs
- Crisp, transparent communication skills across various disciplines
- Process knowledge about ammonia, methanol and hydrogen production
Our Offer:
- A chance to work on real impact projects at the intersection of chemistry and digital technology
- A international, interdisciplinary, and agile team that supports you to grow
- You will be given the space to develop ideas and create significant impact through digital projects that drive sustainability in chemical operations.
- We reward the value you bring with an attractive remuneration and benefits of a modern company.
