Since the big bang at the beginning of October, we have been setting off a firework display of concerts, art, culture, culinary delights, academy events, private parties and corporate events across the entire 20,000 m² space at Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich Aubing. Our guests enjoy culinary delights not only in our restaurant, day bar, evening bar, live club, outdoor terrace, beer garden and winter garden , but also at our multifaceted in-house event catering for small and large events at Bergson.

We are looking for a permanent position for our catering team as soon as possible: n

Restaurant Manager (m/f/d) full-time for the reopening of the spectacular art, culture, gastronomy and event highlight in Munich.

Your tasks

• You ensure the smooth, high-quality service operation in our restaurant ( with outdoor terrace and beer or winter garden ) and, as a present host, take care of the cordial, courteous, competent care and advice of our guests, including maintenance of the online table reservation system and professional handling of guest feedback
• You manage the entire service team in the restaurant and are involved in the daily service business yourself
• You are responsible for and take care of the correct accounting of the cash registers and daily accounts
• You will be involved in the (further) development of our F&B concept and contribute not only with creativity, but also with economically sound analyses and objectives
• You ensure the exemplary implementation of our F&B concept, compliance with all quality standards and HACCP guidelines and continuously ensure process optimization
• You will instruct new service staff professionally and take care of the organization and implementation of training courses for their education and further training
• In your management role, you will help to expand the entire restaurant, support a positive, motivating working atmosphere with your modern management style, report to our Head of Catering Operations and Purchasing
• and work closely with colleagues from other Bergson teams, e. g . the bar team, kitchen team and our Convention & Event team

Please bring

• You have successfully completed training in the catering or hotel industry or equivalent training in the food & beverage (F&B) sector
• You have several years of relevant professional experience from a comparable management position in the upscale hotel, catering or event industry
• You inspire with your love of serving customers, have first-class process and product knowledge in the areas of food, beverages and wine, are familiar with the business contexts and key figures of the catering industry and like to be one step ahead of industry trends
• You are only satisfied when our guests are satisfied - your excellent host qualities help you to achieve this, which are not only based on a strong service orientation, a convincing sense for guest wishes, your warmth and your winning, communicative manner, but also on your high performance standards and commitment
• Even when things get challenging, you maintain your all-round positive, professional charisma and can motivate your team with appreciation
• You have an excellent command of both written and spoken German and are fluent in English
