(Senior) Data Scientist / Engineer (all genders) - Rider Feedback
Join us as a Data Scientist / Engineer (all genders) in our Rider Feedback team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
The Rider Feedback team enables MOIA and its global customers to understand how riders experience autonomous (AD) trips. We collect and analyze feedback ranging from overall satisfaction, perceived safety, and comfort to specific input about pick-up and drop-off locations.
Building on this data, the team develops actionable feedback insights through clustering, aggregation, AI-based categorization, and by connecting feedback with other data sources. Our goal is to identify trends and patterns that help teams across MOIA continuously improve the autonomous mobility experience
What you will do
- Use large language models (LLMs) to perform text classification and categorization, maintaining and improving automated data labeling workflows.
- Turn raw feedback data into clear and actionable analytics insights.
- Translate complex business requirements into meaningful data products.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and scalability for our dynamic data layers.
- Develop monitoring and alerting to ensure reliable pipeline operation.
- Work in a cross-functional team together with software engineers, Product Manager, UX designer and UX research.
- Collaborate closely with the data platform teams to ensure the datasets fit MOIA’s data lake infrastructure and best practices, as well as comply with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate closely with other data teams to combine feedback data with operational and system data.
What will help you to fulfill your role
- Several years of hands-on experience in Data Science/Engineering.
- Expertise in the following technologies: Python and SQL.
- Experience building KPIs driver trees, or other explanatory models.
- Experience working with machine learning models and algorithms, with practical knowledge of model development and evaluation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences (Product Managers, Project Managers, Senior Leaders, Software Engineers, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks in the LLM landscape.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the evolving data and AI landscape.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt versioning, and monitoring in production (e.g., tracking response quality, cost optimization, latency management).
- Experience building analytical dashboards with tools like Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
- Experience analyzing feedback data, e.g. performing sentiment analysis using NLP models, analyzing customer satisfaction or other customer KPIs.
- Experience working in agile cross-functional teams using pair programming, code reviews, scrum rituals, CI/CD automation.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds— even if you don’t meet every requirement. If you’re excited about the role and MOIA’s mission, we’d love to hear from you!
