THE TEAM AND YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Product Manager (all genders) for Patient Billing (Patientenabrechnung), you will take end-to-end responsibility for the product strategy and further development of our billing solution within the Avelios platform — from discovery to delivery to rollout. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, our Medical team, customers, and partners, translating market and user needs into scalable, robust product features.

Experience in hospital billing is beneficial, but the core of this role is excellence in product management within complex environments.

YOUR TASKS

• Driving the strategic development of our billing module and owning the roadmap for its key components end-to-end

• Translating user and market needs into clear product decisions, epics, and acceptance criteria

• Leading data-driven product management through KPIs, experiments, evaluation, and continuous improvement

• Ensuring integrations and compliance (e.g., HL7/FHIR, HIS/PVS/ERP) and managing clear stakeholder communication as well as go-to-market support

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise startups

• Proven excellence in PM processes: structured discovery, data-driven prioritisation, and reliable delivery

• Strong analytical and decisive working style with a systematic problem-solving approach

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel and align diverse stakeholders

• Solid technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations; experience with HL7/FHIR or HIS/PVS/ERP is a plus

• Passion for intuitive, modern digital products in healthcare, plus very good German and good English skills
