Freelance Opportunity - Computational Biologist (Munich-Based)

We're looking for an experienced Computational Biologist with strong statistical and data science skills to support cutting-edge research projects.

What you'll do:

• Analyse complex biological datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.)
• Apply statistical modelling and machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with wet lab teams and research scientists
• Deliver insights that drive discovery and innovation

What you bring:

• Strong Python/R and bioinformatics toolkit experience
• Data Abstraction, Standardisation, and Anonymisation knowledge
• RWD Analysis experience
• Proven track record in computational biology or related fields in a commercial setting, in similar scientific roles (min 3 years)
• Based in Munich (mostly remote, must be open to occasional monthly travel to Munich)
• Available for freelance/project-based work
• Applicants must possess full eligibility to work in Germany/the EU
