You’ll make an impact by
- In your new role, you are responsible for the Office IT (including the foundational IT infrastructure) portfolio in Siemens Financial Services (SFS) and act as the trusted advisor for SFS business, ensuring their business needs and regulatory requirements are translated into effective IT demands and available Siemens IT are optimally leveraged in our organization
- You develop and implement strategies to support Siemens IT Service Owners to improve the quality of services by ensuring that they are fit for use and fit for purpose for the personas in Siemens Financial Services
- You lead and mentor a team of internal IT Service Managers who act as single point of contact for SFS business as well as Siemens IT. With your team, you foster a culture of continuous growth, innovation, customer centricity and service excellence
- You maintain continuous communication and collaboration with internal and external partners to understand their needs and expectations and ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. To enable you in this, you build and nurture positive relationships with key business and IT partners
- You bridge the gap between IT and business leadership by translating complex technical topics into actionable and business-relevant insights
- You drive innovation by exploring new technologies and service delivery methodologies to improve service quality and delivery
- You monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the effectiveness of service delivery, considering business feedback and industry best practices
- You manage the budget of the Office IT and IT infrastructure portfolio of SFS and are able to explain the value contribution of the portfolio as well as challenge cost drivers
- You steer the sourcing of the service providers and external workforce to improve your service portfolio offering
Your defining qualities
- Education
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Informatics, or a related field
- Experience & Skills
- You have 6+ years of proven experience within IT (preferably in the financial industry) and several years of experience in a leadership role
- Ideally, you have gained international experience, which allows you to manage and collaborate in a global environment
- Experience in IT service management in a complex multi-provider IT landscape
- Market recognized certificates in Project and IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL) is considered a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and senior collaborators
- Ability to think strategically and inspire change in a dynamic environment
- Languages
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), proficiency in German and/or Portuguese are an advantage
