In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a System-on-Chip design effort collaborating with all fields, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.
Description
As an intern on the Design for Test-Design Verification (DFT-DV) Team, you will assist with verifying and testing high quality IP to meet functionality, quality, performance and feature goals.
Responsibilities include especially, but are not limited to:
- Learn and work on the complete DFT-DV solutions in a chip design by working with chip DFT-DV team to detail IP specifications, and define the SoC test interface.
- Verify and define tests as well as generate test vectors, for Analog and Mixed Signal IP’s.
- Work with the Analog Mixed Signal design team and SoC design team to verify proper integration, controllability and testability of such IP’s.
This position can be carried out as a full-time internship or a part-time working student role. Students available for 9-12 months are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your penultimate year of studies in a CE, EE, or related field (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD)
- This position can be carried out as a full-time internship or a part-time working student role
- English language fluency is required (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Coursework focusing on Computer Architecture and digital design techniques
- Phenomenal interpersonal skills, and like the rest of us here at Apple, you love working in an open and multi-cultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Available for 9-12 months
- Scripting and programming knowledge with one or more of the following: Python, Perl, TCL - an advantage
