Solution Engineer Electrical Automation (m/f/d) at our Munich location

Your job:

• As a Solution Engineer, you are an expert in electrical automation and control technology from the Festo Experience Centre
• You will be responsible for commissioning and optimising application solutions with a focus on drive technology, either remotely or on site at customer locations
• Software support and troubleshooting by telephone, in writing or on site will also fall within your area of responsibility
• You will assist in the development of solution concepts and feasibility studies at the Festo Experience Centre
• The development of replicable function modules and software packages based on Codesys Softmotion will also fall within your area of responsibility
• As an excellent team player, you will be part of the Festo Sales Team and will support your sales colleagues with questions on software topics and drive technology, as well as other technical specialists within the Festo network

Your qualification:

• Degree in mechatronics, software engineering or training as a state-certified technician with professional experience or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in automation technology
• In-depth knowledge of electrical drive and control technology, ideally with different control platforms
• Knowledge of solution-finding and problem-solving methods
• Experience in dealing with switch cabinet documentation, including safety technology
• Good German and English skills
• Structured and analytical thinking, willingness to take responsibility, enthusiasm and flexibility
• Willingness to travel within Germany/regionally
