Zusammenfassung der Tätigkeit
Are you a self‑starter with a background in physics or engineering, preferably in the particle or plasma physics domain? Are you passionate about advancing research? Do you enjoy solving technical challenges and working closely with people? If so, read on.
In this role, you will be the primary technical point of contact for research institutions across Central Europe. You will empower them to address their technical and strategic challenges while fostering long‑term partnerships. By demonstrating the value of MATLAB and Simulink, you will help drive tool adoption in both research and commercial projects and use your insight to articulate how MathWorks accelerates scientific discovery and research success.
Verantwortlichkeiten
Plan and strategize. Using data-driven account assessments you develop a strategy to engage with research institutions to increase their tool usage and adoption in e ngineering and s cience. Jointly with the other members of the account team you rev iew progress and adapt your plan.
Engage with researchers . Y ou meet and w ork with customers to address their needs and support integration of our tools in research. Some meetings involve key decision makers who seek your insight and value your connections at other research institutions.
Create a vision for succe ss . Be it in research or through networking activities. It is our mission to make our customers successful by provid ing sustainable and proven value. And it is up to you to craft a vision to make this happen.
Cultivate champions . Through your customer engagements you establish business relationships with leading researchers . You grow them to be come MathWorks advocates at their institution and in the broader research community . Likewise, you a dvocate on behalf of customers and influence the future of MathWorks offerings.
Foster collaboration . Resourcefulness is a must-have for this role. We will help you ramp up to be successful and to effectively e ngage other MathWorks teams and external stakeholders to assist in key activitie s and specialized product areas.
Mindestqualifikationen
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Zusätzliche Qualifikationen
- A relevant MS or PhD in Engineering or Applied Science
- Proven working experience with MATLAB & Simulink
- Experience in developing laboratory or course material is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a home-office environment
- Experience as a researcher is required, experience as an instructor is a plus
- Experience in a customer facing technical or marketing role is a plus
- Strong German and English language skills (written and spoken) are required. Additional languages are a plus.
