Activities
You are here to build the team that builds the product. You will build our recruiting infrastructure from scratch, hunt candidates who aren't looking for jobs, and use data to predict and improve our hiring velocity
What you’ll own
- Own full recruiting lifecycle: From sourcing to signing. You run the process, manage the pipeline, and close our new team members
- Hunt top talent: No "Post & Pray" if it doesn't work. You find and engage the top people we need - even if they are not actively looking
- Experiment ruthlessly: You treat sourcing like a lab. You constantly test new channels, tools, and approaches to find our unique growth levers
- Build the engine: You run the ATS, set up automation, and workflows that allow us to scale efficiently
- Drive performance with data: You track the funnel (conversions, time-to-hire) and optimize based on data - ruthlessly
- Shape employer branding: You run campaigns and create the content that make Skalar a magnet for high-potential candidates
Requirements
- 2+ years experience: In recruiting, ideally in a hyper-growth startup environment
- Hunter Mentality: You love the chase. You are persistent, creative in sourcing, and know how to sell a vision
- Data-Driven: You track performance and use data to validate your strategies
- Tech-Savvy: You master the modern recruiting stack (ATS, CRM, AI) and automate repetitive tasks
- Super strong bias to action: You don't wait for permission. If the pipeline is empty, you fill it. If the process is slow, you fix it
- Excellent communication: You speak fluent English (internal) and German (essential for tax roles)
- Branding: Experience building an employer brand that drives conversion
Team
We are a team of experienced entrepreneurs who have scaled businesses to 10s of millions of users, 10s of millions in revenue, multiple countries, and 9-digit exits - and we are just getting started. We are backed with €3M in equity, even though we haven’t actively raised funding yet - yes, investors are chasing us.
