The DAV Summit Club is Europe’s leading mountaineering school and an internationally active tour operator for mountain, hiking and cycling tours based in Munich. With over 65 years of experience and as a 100% subsidiary of the German Alpine Club, our product portfolio covers almost all alpine varieties in the mountains of the world and thus offers a wide range of activities for every nature lover.

To strengthen our team of currently 40 employees, we are looking for a committed personality (m/f/d) for the Alpine Operation & Sales department in our modern office in Parkstadt Schwabing. In this role, you can expect a wide range of tasks and, together with the team, you will be responsible for handling trips from our Alps portfolio.

Destination Manager Operation & Sales (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Complete processing of trips from our Alpine portfolio
• Customer support by phone and e-mail
• Contingent management and adjustment of hotel and hut contingents
• Capacity utilization management
• Creation and dispatch of travel documents
• Communication with all service providers (mountain guides, accommodation, transport companies, incoming agencies, etc.)
• Participation in info trips, trade fairs and events
• Quality control (homepage & catalog advertisements)

Your profile:

• Enthusiasm for trekking and mountain tours as well as alpine topics
• Experience in mountain sports
• Independence, organizational skills
• Team and communication skills, motivation, openness, reliability and tolerance
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good geographical knowledge of the Alpine region
• Customer and service orientation
• Tourism or commercial training is an advantage
• Confident handling of the common Office applications
