HOLOGATE is looking for a skilled and versatile Technical Animator (m/f/d) to strengthen our Art & Development teams. In this role, you will work at the intersection of art and technology, ensuring animations are seamlessly integrated into our immersive XR and VR experiences.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with artists and developers to integrate effects into gameplay and interactions
- Supporting and implementing character and object animations in Unreal Engine
- Bridging animation, rigging, and engine implementation
- Troubleshooting animation-related issues
- Supporting technical pipelines and workflows between Art and Development
- Acting as a technical interface between artists and programmers
Key Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Technical Animator, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5)
- Solid understanding of animation pipelines and real-time animation systems
- Ability to collaborate closely with artists, designers, and programmers
- Structured, solution-oriented working style
- Very good English skills; German is a plus
Desirables
- Experience with XR, VR, or real-time simulation projects
- Experience supporting complex, multi-platform real-time applications
