Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team programs/projects.
Experience delivering security solutions and managing security projects and programs.
Experience with privacy, security, or compliance.
Experience working on cloud based services.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in technical and product program management.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fluid environment.
Ability to influence cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills and a data-driven approach towards solving challenges.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

Build and leverage relationships with the customers and partners to define and solution challenges to reduce security-related risk for the company.
Connect the dots and be the advocate across products, tools and key partners to influence the team's direction and strategy, including Critical User Journeys (CUJs). This includes partnerships with engineering teams and product areas.
Drive cross-functional projects to deliver lasting impact, managing schedules, program plans, risks and issues, and prioritizing product/feature development, enhancements and delivery.
Create a collaborative work environment within the team that fosters transparency, autonomy, innovation, and learning.
