Position Summary

System LSI (S. LSI) is a division within Samsung Semiconductors Europe, dedicated to enhancing cars with cutting-edge infotainment systems and sensors to ensure safe driving. Our focus also extends to developing products and reference designs for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems within the automotive industry. The quality team plays a pivotal role in supporting the R&D and industrial engineering teams by defining quality improvement priorities through rigorous monitoring and analysis of customer complaint data. This thorough analysis and correlation of quality complaint data with product key metrics are essential for making objective judgments and driving continuous improvement.

Please note that you must be currently enrolled in a university program to be eligible for this position.

Role and Responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing a robust platform that facilitates optimal data collection and preparation from diverse data sources, employing Python programming languages.
• Collaborate with our team to understand database requirements and design data models using Transact-SQL.
• Designing comprehensive reports, which will involve writing DAX expressions for data visualization in Power BI
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI report platforms, ensuring accurate, up-to-date data presentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database and reporting solutions into various systems.
• Assist in automation tasks using Python or other scripting tools to streamline data operations.
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Master program such as Mathematics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with Transact-SQL, database management and comfortable working with relational databases.
• Skilled in Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
• Proficient in Excel and analytical tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages, especially those relevant to automation (Python, SQL).
• Curious and eager to grow your skills in data analytics and machine learning (basic knowledge is a plus).
• Self-driven, structured, and a strong communicator in English.
