Über diesen Job
Description:
The Institute of Anatomy and Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Münster is offering a position in cellular neurosciences at the earliest opportunity, initially limited to 3 years.
Part-time with 65%
Salary according to TV-L E13
Our research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of synapse formation and neurotransmission, which are essential for brain function. We seek a highly motivated graduate student interested in investigating the role of the synaptic organizer molecules neurexins and their defects in mutant mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. The project is based on state-of-the-art methods to analyze synaptic function and structure in vivo and in vitro.
Ideal candidates will hold an above-average Master’s degree in a related field and have demonstrated strong motivation for basic science. Prior experimental experience with the nervous system, biochemistry, cell culture, electrophysiology, or microscopic techniques is an asset.
