• As a Legal Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in our interdisciplinary compliance team, working closely with clients on the legal interpretation, structuring and implementation of regulatory requirements.

Tasks

Regulatory Monitoring & Legal Assessment

• Monitor, analyze and interpret regulatory developments at German and EU level

(e.g. WpIG, KAGB, MaRisk, GwG, DORA, AMLA, MiCA)

• Translate regulatory requirements into practical, client-ready guidance

Risk & Compliance Frameworks

• Conduct and further develop compliance and risk assessments
• Support the design and optimization of compliance management systems

Implementation Concepts & Advisory

• Develop legally sound and actionable compliance concepts
• Advise clients during implementation and ongoing compliance operations

Client Interaction & Supervisory Interfaces

• Support regulatory audits, reporting processes and supervisory interactions
• Act as a trusted compliance partner for clients and authorities

Industries & Client Segments

• Banks and financial institutions
• Capital management companies & investment firms
• FinTechs, crypto service providers and payment institutions
• ESG-driven and regulated non-financial corporates

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory risk or legal advisory
• Background in a Big Four firm, legal consultancy or regulated financial institution is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of German and EU regulatory frameworks
• Structured, independent working style with a collaborative mindset
• Interest in digital compliance solutions and RegTech-driven approaches
• Excellent communication skills and a professional client-facing attitude
