Your tasks
- In the Institute of Pharma Technology and Biotechnology, we are currently looking for a PhD student. The project will be carried out in collabortation with the University of Basel and Amyra Biotech AG. The working place will be at the new FHNW Campus Muttenz, just outside Basel, Switzerland. Remuneration according to SNSF.
- Formulation development of enzymes for supplementation of brush border peptidases
- Manufacture of per-oral particulate pharmaceutical dosage form
- In vitro evaluation of dosage form performance in a dynamic gastrointestinal model
- Optimization of digestion of gluten immunogenic peptide epitopes
- Kinetic modeling of gastric emptying, enzyme stability, drug release, enzymatic action
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Drug Sciences or Life Sciences
- Strong interest in scientific research, capacity for fundamental reasoning, team-oriented mindset, good communications skills
- Fluency in English and German
