The "Battery Systems” group of our "Sustainable Energy” Business Unit based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is currently looking for a Battery System Engineer.

Your mission

The battery system engineer supports the battery system team by designing, putting into operation and testing high-voltage battery systems. This includes commercial products as well as our internal zBMS platform.

Your responsabilities

• System integration and realization of battery systems demonstrators up to 100 kW and 800 V
• Modelling and simulation of battery/energy systems based on Python, Matlab or similar being a plus
• System-level analysis, including functional prototype verification, and documentation
• Standard-conform validation of developped prototype systems

Your profile

Know-how

• MSc/PhD in Engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience
• Track record in high-voltage and high-power system design
• Proven experince in battery standards and associated testing and validation protocols
• Experience in prototyping of power systems up to 100 kW and 800 V
• Proven experience in testing and validation using appropriate laboratory equipment
• implementation and configuration of communication protocols
• Professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
