We are seeking an experienced IC Front-End Manufacturing Manager to ensure operational performance, continuity, and efficiency within a high-tech semiconductor production environment. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Define daily and weekly production priorities and coordinate activities with maintenance and process teams
• Monitor and drive performance against key production KPIs
• Lead regular operational meetings to align priorities and track execution

Team Leadership

• Manage and support multiple production teams operating 24/7
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, skills coverage, and workforce planning
• Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and production staff
• Foster a positive, safe, and high-performance work culture

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Analyse production performance and implement action plans
• Lead structured problem-solving initiatives (e.g. 8D methodology)
• Identify system improvements and implement innovative solutions
• Drive short- and medium-term improvement projects

Production & Process Oversight

• Ensure compliance with work instructions, safety standards, and cleanroom protocols
• Oversee training, qualification, and integration of new operators
• Maintain and improve production documentation
• Coordinate production shutdowns (Fab Stop)

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Support audits and ensure follow-up on action plans
• Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and employee development processes

Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree in Microelectronics or a related field
• Formal training in leadership and management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a production environment
• At least 3 years’ experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing
• Strong understanding of IC production processes
• Maintenance knowledge is advantageous
• Proven experience managing teams with a focus on performance and development
• Experience in project management and operational improvement initiatives
