Proclinical is seeking a skilled Project Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership for the successful execution of a major capital expenditure (capex) project. This role involves overseeing the commissioning, qualification, and validation of a state-of-the-art aseptic filling line. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure timely project completion, seamless transition to operations, and adherence to budget and scope.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finalization of a major capex project, including engineering runs (ER) and process performance qualification (PPQ), in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
• Communicate project performance updates to senior leadership, global engineering teams, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including Gantt charts, budgets, resource allocation, communication strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure all project activities comply with established policies, practices, and processes.
• Guide teams to deliver project milestones on time, within budget, and according to scope using project management tools.
• Oversee change management during the transition from project phase to operational phase.
• Create contingency plans to address risks associated with complex project elements.
• Organize and facilitate technical and project management meetings with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Participate in relevant on-site and off-site meetings and activities related to the project.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in engineering, biological sciences, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Expertise in capex project management, particularly in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic filling processes and commercial filling lines, preferably in biologics.
• Proficiency in cGxP standards and project management tools.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing global matrix teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in risk management and strategic problem-solving.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, SCPM) or equivalent experience.
