ISR is an IB World School authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme, and also offers Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) IGCSE courses. The school is a certified member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
We wish to hire a dedicated and qualified full-time Secondary School Teacher (m/f/d) with experience in teaching Geography to join our dynamic educational institution.
The teacher is expected to create and deliver engaging lessons that captivate students' interest and foster a deep understanding of the core concepts. This encompasses not only conveying theoretical knowledge but also applying innovative teaching methodologies to cultivate critical thinking skills and real-world applicability.
The candidate should:
- be a fully qualified teacher, preferably with GCSE and IBDP or A-Level experience.
- have excellent subject knowledge.
- have a good understanding of personalised feedback and assessment.
- have a passion for developing the whole child in a supportive and enriched classroom environment.
- have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice and can demonstrate a positive impact in the classroom.
- be committed to delivering the highest standards in teaching and learning.
- be inspirational with high expectations of pupil attainment, behaviour and wellbeing.
- be willing to work collaboratively within the team and engage positively across departments.
- be willing to arrange and support field trips, in relation to Geography fieldwork.
- show interest in volunteering for extra-curricular activities.
Candidates must hold a PGCE, B.Ed, M.Ed or other suitable education qualification. Only candidates having appropriate university qualifications and/or teaching qualifications will be considered.
