We are looking for a Safety & CE Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Neutraubling (near Regensburg).

• • Monitoring and ensuring the conformity of our products and manufacturing processes
  • Conducting the CE conformity process in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
  • Developing, supporting, and documenting the safety concepts for our mobile and stationary systems
  • Conducting, supporting, and documenting risk assessments using Safexpert in accordance with EN ISO 12100
  • Developing and evaluating safety functions and performance level considerations (SISTEMA)
  • Developing innovative safety concepts for autonomous mobile robot systems (AGVs/AMRs)
  • Advising and training development departments on standards, guidelines, and functional safety
  • Close collaboration with suppliers and external testing institutions (e.g., TÜV, BG, certification bodies)
  • Coordinating and tracking safety-related issues and tasks
  • Monitoring and implementing current developments in EU law

That makes you stand out:

• Completed technical degree (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable)
• Several years of experience in the areas of machine safety, functional safety, and CE conformity
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant standards:
  - EN ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
  - EN ISO 13849 / IEC 62061 (functional safety)
  - EN 1175, EN ISO 3691-4 (safety of driverless vehicles and industrial trucks)
  - Optional: knowledge of DIN EN 60204-1 / ISO 10218 / ISO 3691-4 / IEC 61496
• Experience in using tools such as SISTEMA, Safexpert
• Good knowledge of EU conformity assessment procedures and technical documentation
• Knowledge of safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, hazard and risk analyses, etc.)
• Structured, team-oriented, and analytical approach to work
• High sense of responsibility and strong social skills
• Keeping a clear head in critical situations and problem-solving skills are among your strengths
