Our customer, Swisspearl Group, a leading international manufacturer of innovative and sustainable building materials and facade systems, is seeking a motivated Application Engineer to join their international team at their headquarters in Niederurnen, Switzerland. The candidate will perform structural calculations, FEM analysis, and product testing while supporting business units across Europe with engineering expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic cross-border environment with colleagues based throughout Europe, contributing to technical development and certification projects.

Tasks

• Structural Engineering: Perform wind load calculations and provide technical assessments for projects
• FEM Analysis: Execute simulations for structural validation and system optimization efforts
• Testing Support: Participate in product testing, documentation, and certification activities
• Technical Documentation: Update wind load tables and maintain installation manuals

Requirements

• Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Building Engineering
• Technical expertise: Strong structural mechanics knowledge and proficiency in FEM/FEA software
• Professional experience: One to five years in construction, façade systems, or building materials
• Fluency in both English and German is mandatory for this role
