• Work closely with a team of engineers to develop propulsion, dynamics and range extender systems while ensuring compliance with functional safety standards. 
• Lead the teams of engineers (Dynamics, Propulsion and REX functions) in the development of electric drive systems. 
• Oversee the creation of Level 1 to Level 3 requirements using tools such as Cameo, Codebeamer, and JIRA. 
• Coordinate with UI/UX teams to ensure alignment of signals and working principles. 
• Manage the integration and testing of system functionalities, including winter and summer testing. 
• Ensure all processes comply with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards for functional safety. 
• Conduct stakeholder reviews and secure necessary approvals for system components and functionalities. 
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to align on design changes and ensure fulfillment of all requirements. 
• Serve as the primary liaison at the customer facility in Novi, MI, ensuring smooth communication and project execution. 
• Coordinate with German-speaking teams located in Germany to align project goals and timelines. 
• Manage and oversee project work packages. 
• Facilitate meetings and discussions to track project progress and address any issues. 
• Support integration and testing activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines. 
• Provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. 

• Proven experience in project coordination and management, preferably in the automotive or engineering industry. 
• Experience in the automotive sector, particularly in electric vehicle or SDV projects 
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in function/requirements development within one of the following: propulsion, dynamics or range extender domains. 
• Proficiency in JIRA (or similar), MS Office and Sharepoint. Proficiency in tools such as Cameo, Codebeamer, and Confluence (or similar tools). 
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and organize a team. 
• Excellent communication and documentation skills. 
• Ability to travel internationally. 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus but not required. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with international teams and navigate cultural differences. 
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
