Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the key interface between our internal stakeholders and our external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for Germany.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the end-to-end payroll process with our external payroll provider
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll input data (hires, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, absences)
• Review and approve payroll results before payment runs, ensuring overall accuracy
• Ensure timely payroll payments and compliant reporting to tax and social security authorities
• Apply and validate payroll-related statutory regulations and requirements
• Reconcile payroll data and collaborate with Finance and Accounting on postings
• Act as the main contact for employees on payroll-related queries
• Partner with HR, Benefits, and Finance on employee-related topics
• Manage communication, corrections, and deadlines with the payroll provider and external stakeholders
• Support audits, monitor legislative changes, and contribute to payroll projects and EMEA backup

Your Profile

• 2–3 years of experience in German payroll
• Solid knowledge of German tax and social security regulations
• Experience handling payroll for diverse employee groups, including pensioners, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in German and English
