Structurer

At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Structurer to reinforce our energy trading activities. As part of the Structuring desk, you will be based in Lausanne or Olten, Switzerland, and play a pivotal role in structuring and pricing innovative and complex solutions. This role is ideal for someone at mid-level of seniority who enjoys both the technical complexity of structured products and the commercial challenge of such transactions.

Your accountabilities

• Pricing of structured products from Origination channels, brokers as well as long-term Assets
• Build/enhance pricing tools & methodologies in line with market developments
• Collaborate with Trading and Origination in their commercial activity: propose new ideas, direct client-facing support when required.
• Improving data flow and data management at the desk

Your profile

• Relevant experience of at least 3+ years, with knowledge in both pricing/structuring Derivatives and European Energy Markets.
• Master’s degree in Quantitative field (Physics, Mathematics, Finance ect)
• Good mathematical modelling skills and solving complex problems
• Excellent analytical and programming skills (Python, VBA)
• Familiar with Optimisation, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance
• Great communication and influencing skills
• Fluency in English, additional European languages (French, German, Spanish or Italian) a plus
