Our modern products, such as fieldbus systems, have their own little brains and are controlled by software. Developing, improving, and implementing this software on the products is the job of our software developers. This involves taking many things into account, understanding the hardware, and keeping the bigger picture in mind. Connecting to various protocols, various forms of communication, and networks—all of this is part of the wide world of engineering informatics, which we want to introduce you to!

Your training

During your studies, you will work independently or as part of a team in our development department. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing technologies and systems for information processing. Developing embedded software, programming microcontrollers, and conducting various tests—all of these tasks are typical of a computer science engineer.
You will also be part of a team of trainees and, in addition to the technical content, will learn project and presentation skills in our weekly "trainee group." You will regularly work on a task together, and there will also be plenty of fun, such as our annual outing.
