For our client, a medium-sized company in the machine tool and laser technology sector in Pfronten, we are looking for you as Operational Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with an option to be taken on .

Job description
- Your tasks include the holistic support and operational development of the assigned suppliers within your material group in strict compliance with internal quality specifications
- In addition, you are responsible for obtaining and systematically comparing offers to ensure that materials are procured for production on time at all times
- You will also be responsible for preparing and conducting target-oriented contract negotiations with national suppliers:
- In order to sustainably optimise the applicable purchasing conditions and delivery dates
- The handling of efficient new procurement processes and the consistent processing of any complaints that arise are also part of your daily tasks in this responsible position
- As part of your work, you will actively support the analysis of the relevant procurement markets in order to avoid potential supply bottlenecks at an early stage and successfully develop alternative sources of supply
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have at least two years of sound professional experience in the field of operational procurement or materials management within a manufacturing industrial company
- You have a sound knowledge of the common MS-Office applications as well as initial practical experience in using the ERP system SAP characterise you in particular
- you have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for communication with international partners:inside
- In addition to your professional expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany
