Waste Officer (m/f/d)

Specialized company in the field of civil engineering, concrete construction, electrical and telecommunications engineering is looking for a new team member to join immediately for the Poggersdorf location.

Activities

In this role, you will assume a central role at the interface between environmental protection, quality assurance, and construction site safety. You will actively shape how sustainable waste disposal, legally compliant construction coordination, and quality processes are implemented in a growth-oriented company.

Your tasks:

• Assumption of the function of waste management officer according to the Waste Management Act (AWG) (including monitoring and documentation of waste streams)
• Responsibility for compliance with and further development of legal and operational requirements in the area of ​​waste management
• Support and coordination of Bau-KG topics (workforce coordination on construction sites according to BauKG)
• Participation in quality management
• Organisation and implementation of internal audits as well as support of external audits
• Training and awareness-raising of employees in the areas of waste, construction and quality
• Creation and maintenance of relevant documentation, reports and risk assessments

Requirements

• Completed technical or environmental training (HTL, FH, TU or equivalent)
• Additional qualifications in waste management, construction coordination or quality management are an advantage
• at least three years of experience in a construction limited partnership
• Ideally, first professional experience in environmental or quality management, construction or HSE
• Knowledge of the relevant standards and laws (AWG, BauKG, ASchG)
• independent, structured working style and high sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
